Is there a way to simply provide a directory and the lightbox script could automatically generate a gallery for all the images that are found in that directory? I know that the Worpress plugin based on this script does it but I am not sure if the original lightbox supports automatic directory galleries.
Thanks

I am using this script on two sites, one thing i can still not figure out. Sommetimes the lightbox has a scrollbar in IE 8.0 and most of the times it hasn't. If I have two pictures for example both of them exactly the same height and wide, one of them can have scrollbars, you cannot get rid off!! Sommetimes changing the name of the picture helps. The pictures are not on the same page, i have one picture at the time on one page.
It is a oscommerce site. It drives me crazy not to figure it out.
Lots of things have been written on this issue, but no clue for me yet.
Anyone?????????
Thanks.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I was struggling with this concept for a few days before I came across your comment here. This is exactly what I needed.

And of course, huge thanks also to Lokesh!

Great job, everyone!

I cannot for the life of me get lightbox to work. the images are opening in a new popup window. I read the onload attribute issue (body onload="MM_preloadImages...) in the troubleshooting section but I cannot find that line anywhere in my blog (running WP 2.2).

Thanks for sharing the lightbox script! It is fabulous and I tried implementing it for a website.
When I was testing this on my local home machine, the transparency using overlay.png works great in all IE 6.0 , 7 and Firefox. The url is http://abasak.no-ip.org/5/chinrest.php
However, without changing any code when I tried to upload it to a hosting website, the transparency does not work in IE 6.0 but works in Firefox and IE 7. The url is http://www.stringmart.com/chinrest.php
Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this? Is this something to do with any file access privileges? I have looked into the paths and all, but cannot figure out what may be the reason.
Can somebody help... please...
Thanks a lot!

Hi,

Does anyone have a working solution using LS but using text from MySQL. I offer a free remote cron service at http://www.remote-cron.com . What I'd like to do is to be able to display the users' crontab log files in the same manner as LS does it with images.

Anyone out there?

Many thanks in advance...
